Food at LS
|
This weekend gone was my first game at the LS since before COVID! As it was raining cats and dogs before kick off.. had to get some grub from inside. It was terrible, had one of those Katsu Chicken burgers!
On the way out had sausage and chips from the fish and chip vendor outside - it was fairly decent!
Who is your favourite food vendor at the LS ?

Got chatting to the sweets guy near 141, same bunch of sweets have been there for a year, they just stick a cover over them after the game
Enjoy!

Surely they don’t charge £4.70 for a bottle of coke. Nobody should even consider paying that.

Went once…
Saw prices …dodgy quality fish & chips…
Waited until I got back to Hanger Lane…
Half the price … superior quality…friendly service…

Had a pie & a pint for £6 in the stadium before the game. Pie wasn't too bad. Decent price.

Before the move I used to enjoy a box of stir-fry noodles from just inside the entrance

Before the move I always used to enjoy a bacon & scallop roll from the wet fish stall outside the Black Lion.

I never really eat when going to games. But I never really got this faux outrage at the LS selling popcorn. Honestly who gives a bollocks.

I usually eat in the shopping center, I know it’s crap because it is a fucking SHOPPING CENTER, but there are some okay restaurants and the beer is loads better.

Yeah £4.70 for 500ml Considering the stadium is now cashless the price of food and drink is even more of a rip off as no cash handling cuts down on staffing, handling & banking costs. There should always be a cash alternative imo.

My main issue with the food and drink kiosks/bars inside the ground is the terrible customer service. The minimum wage numpties they have serving seem to be in a competition to be the most gormless, slowest moving cunt possible.
As the old saying goes. You pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
